Pamlico County High School is a community of learners including students, parents and staff who are dedicated to creating an academically rigorous, culturally caring, and inclusive learning environment. With an enrollment of around 500 students, PCHS is able to maintain individualized attention with access to many extracurricular activities.

Early Release Wednesday March 5

Pamlico County Schools will release early for students and staff on Wednesday, March 5, due to anticipated high winds. All after school activities are also cancelled.
The safety of our students, bus drivers, and staff is our top priority, and these conditions may make travel hazardous for our buses.

Two Hour Delay

Due to anticipated road conditions in the morning, Pamlico County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay for students and staff on Friday, February 21. This delay will allow additional time for road conditions to improve and ensure safer travel.

This decision prioritizes the safety of our students, staff, and families, as forecasts indicate hazardous conditions that may impact travel.
