At Pamlico County Schools, the safety of our students, athletes, and community is always our top priority. As a reminder, we have several safety precautions in place at all of our sporting events, including no re-entry once a guest has left the venue. These protocols are designed to ensure a safe and secure environment for everyone in attendance.
Starting tonight at our middle school football game against St. Peter, we will introduce additional safety measures. These include a clear bag only policy (no other bags will be allowed) and occasional metal detector screenings upon entry. There will also be a single entry gate on Anderson Drive for football games, which will be staffed by school personnel and local law enforcement to ensure the line moves efficiently.
Clear bags only
No firearms or weapons of any kind - guns, knives, etc . . .
No alcoholic beverages
No tobacco / vaping products
No coolers
No artificial noisemakers
To include any additional items deemed inappropriate by local law enforcement.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we continue to prioritize the safety of our school community. Thank you for helping us keep our events secure and enjoyable for all.
