Rotary Students Named

At the monthly Pamlico County Schools Board Meeting, on Monday, December 5th, we were pleased to announce the Rotary Students of the Month.

From Pamlico County High School, Gabriel Mason.

Gabriel is a good student and gets along with others. Gabriel's biology teacher had this to say about him. "I have thoroughly enjoyed having Gabriel in my first-period class. He smiles, says good morning, participated in class, and completes ALL of his assignments without one single complaint. He brings out the best in people and exemplifies leadership in the classroom and on the football field. He is a great role model for his peers and I'm very proud of him."

Pamlico County Middle Schools would like to congratulate Quamori Miller as their December Rotary Student of the Month.

Quamori is an exceptionally well-rounded student. He has a great sense of humor, and he gets along with all of his peers. He sets an example for others by putting differences aside and showing kindness and acceptance. Quamori is a student-athlete, participating in both football and track. he also works hard in the classroom, always seeking to do his very best. Quamori is an advocate for his peers, serving as an 8th-grade representative on the Principal's Student Advisory Council. He was selected based on teacher and peer recommendations as well as his good character. You can always, always count on Quamori to do what is right.

Congratulations to both of these wonderful young men. We are proud that you are Hurricanes.
