Today is NC CDC Day! Through events over the past two years, many people instantly think of the Center for Disease Control when they hear CDC, but in actuality, it is Career Development Counselor Day in NC! And we have one of the very best!
Mr. Shawn Carawan is the CDC for PCHS. If you ever want to know what Pamlico County Schools is doing to make sure our kids are career ready when they finish high school, just ask Mr. Carawan.
He visits classrooms, meets with colleagues, plans field trips, plans events, and even drives the bus . . . anything that needs to be done to make sure our students are aware of every opportunity that is available and get the experiences they need to go into the world prepared, no matter what their next step be!
