Hello Canes Family!!
Here is a little bit about me...I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, and a Master's Degree in Secondary Education Biology from Western Governor's University. This will be my second year teaching science here at Pamlico County High School. However, I did teach a year of high school Chemistry in Arizona, and before that I taught 4th grade for 3 years. This year I am very excited to be teaching Honors Chemistry, Physical Science, Biology AND Human Anatomy and Physiology this year.
I have been in Pamlico County, and in North Carolina for just over a year. I moved here from Yuma, Arizona, which was my home for 11 years. However, I am originally from California. I have a beautiful family, I may be a little biased. My boyfriend is PCHS alumni, and is from Pamlico County. I have three tiny humans: Isabelle who will turn nine soon and goes to Fred Anderson, Ally-Brooke who is four and goes to the pre-school at Pamlico Primary, and Travis who is almost three and attends daycare at Learn as We Grow. We love to go camping, fishing, hunting and especially hiking.
I am so very excited for the 23-24 school year. I cannot wait to share my passion for science with all of my students. Here is to a magical year!!
